These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things

A few years back, my dad and I were driving through the barren highways of southern Idaho on our way  to Oregon. To pass the time we started making lists of a few of our favorite things. He has posted his list on his blog, but I thought I would share my lists too. However, I might spend a bit more time on them then my dad. I might share pictures and stories and such as to why these are 'a few of my favorite things' ... 

Grit and Glory

OREGON AUTUMN 2010

Before coming to school in Spokane, my family and I spent a week in Wallowa County Oregon. This is where I grew up. The land of giant sprinklers, snowcapped peaks, deep cut canyons, ice cold lakes, red barns and eclectic company. It's known as the Shire to locals...and yes they do find pride in their brewing of ale's and smoking of pipe tobacco as well as a their fine feasting. It's a place I would wish to bring everyone I know. Here are a few pictures of our trip to this beautiful north western land.

The Stark Life

A new blog... well third time is supposed to be the 'charm' right? I thought I'd have another go at it and we'll see if I can be more consistent than not. Hopefully this blog will be a little peek into my life, whether through the pictures I post, the lyrics, questions and thoughts I share.
